We are excited to announce we are now taking bookings for guided fly fishing trips on Pyramid Lake for the months of October and November. We will also be guiding here March – May. These trips will be from a 24’ Champion Bay Boat which gives us access to the entire lake. Pyramid is an enormous body of water that spans 28 miles in length and holds the largest cutthroat trout in the world. You can click here for more information on Pyramid Lake.
These fish grow very large in short time due to the abundance of baitfish in the water and if you are truly looking for the opportunity to catch a real fish of a lifetime, this is the place. It is not uncommon to catch some real monster fish that weigh over 20 pounds.
Pyramid Lake is located close to Reno, NV and there are plenty of lodging and food options for your stay. We are offering full day trips and half day trips. The month of October is already filling up, but we still have some dates available. In November, we have quite a few calendar days still open.
You will be guided by United States Coast Guard Captain Hans Grotewold on his luxury bay boat which utilizes the latest and greatest fish-finding electronics. Hans knows the lake very well and is very excited to get you on these amazing fish.
We hope you can join us this fall to experience what a world class fishery is like with a fly rod. Many anglers have fished Pyramid Lake from shore, but the experience on a boat is completely different.
Thanks for reading our news!
Be the fly... and stay safe and healthy out there!
